Contact page
The brief, outreach drafts, talking points and notes for one contact.
The contact page holds everything for one person in Contacts: a short brief, the outreach drafts, a script for the conversation, and their LinkedIn history.
The header
Under the name, one sentence says who the person is and why they matter to this search. The fields below it are Stage, Priority, Email, LinkedIn and Why them. Stage and Priority change in place. Clicking the email copies it; likely marks a guessed address and unverified one that could not be confirmed.
The options menu has Edit profile and Delete. Deleting removes the contact with its outreach history.
Recent
Once research is due again, the button reads Research again. With no lookups left, the line says when the allowance resets.
Reach out
Drafts are written from the Arc and what is known about the person. When the contact is on the hiring side of a role on the student's list, the brief and the drafts speak to that role: the intro names it and gives the two strongest reasons the student fits.
Talking points
A script for the call or coffee chat, in four parts. Copy copies all of it.
- 1.Open: a line about something real the person did.
- 2.Introduce: who the student is, in a sentence or two.
- 3.Ask: questions for the person, each with follow-ups.
- 4.Close: one small next step, such as another person worth meeting or feedback on one thing.
Notes and history
Notes shows anything written about the contact. About, Experience and Education come from the LinkedIn profile.
Contacts an agent added
A contact added by a connected agent shows Added by agent in the meta line and Found on with the page it came from. Its drafts come from the agent, so the page skips the brief, research and talking points.
