Knowledge
The concept graph: reading it, finding concepts, and where they come from.
Knowledge maps the concepts behind the Arc as a graph. Each dot is a concept, colored by cluster.
Exploring the graph
Filled dots are Applied: used in work or a project. Rings are Encountered: met in reading or chat. Lines join related concepts.
Where concepts come from
- 1.Record: the skills behind each experience and project. Applied.
- 2.Resume: the skills list from onboarding. Encountered until a Record entry backs them.
- 3.Shared documents: articles, papers and videos shared with Olva. Encountered.
- 4.Olva chat: concepts that come up in conversation. Encountered.
A concept turns Applied as soon as an experience or project backs it. A person's own shared work becomes an Add to arc card for the Record.
Removing
- 1.Concept: the trash icon in its panel removes it everywhere. It returns only with new evidence.
- 2.Document: the trash icon in a shared document's panel removes it, along with any checked concept only it supports.
Where it's used
- 1.Job matching: concepts count as skills when the Feed is ranked.
- 2.Tailored resumes and the website: the skills they list.
- 3.Olva chat: answers draw on the graph, and View in graph shows the concepts used.
